Amicus Accounting Released
Link: Amicus Accounting Press Release. Finally, Gavel & Gown Software has released its long-awaited Accounting software for law firms, and it looks like an instant success. I will be installing and using it in the very near future, and will report back my results. I have used Amicus Attorney for many years, and have been an Amicus Consultant as well. It will be nice to have the elegant Amicus user interface and ease of use attributes in a time and billing and financial accounting solution. The big test will be the integration of data between the two software packages.

Please do give us your comments. My mother uses Amicus version 5 which she used with Timeslips but she didn't like the UI of Timeslips and the extra data entry and syncing so I've patiently waited for Amicus Accounting. They should nail the integration between their own apps and that should be enough for my mother to move to version 7 and switch from Tabs3 to A.Accounting. Looking forward to your thoughts on this.
