ilovemountains � National Memorial for the Mountains

Link: ilovemountains � National Memorial for the Mountains. It was just a matter of time before a mashup was created for litigation support and movement support. ILoveMountains.Org, an advocacy group fighting against mountain top mining in the Appalachians, is using YouTube, Google Earth, and other web site resources at its mashup, showing the devastation that mountaintop mines are causing. The use of overlays using Google Earth images to show the size of the mines in comparison to maps of cities is especially effective. Whichever side of this argument you may be on, this is an effective use of Web 2.0 by environmental lawyers.
