SimulScribe - Transcribe Your Voice Mail

SimulScribe is a service that mirrors telephone voice messaging systems, and, using sophisticated voice recognition software, transcribes and emails a text copy of voice messages to one or more email addresses. If you prefer, the text can be sent via SMS text messaging. Amazing, and I just signed up. At 40 messages a month for $9.95, the service isn't cheap, and I am waiting to see if it becomes as addictive as Jott. However, the first few messages I received were remarkably accurate, and it is very cool to check my voice messages with a click of the Treo email button. An interesting side benefit for me in my law practice is the automatic storage of voice messages for future use, and for archival purposes. Also, I am sending the voice mail both to my email address an my secretary's. That way, we both know who is calling, and what the messages are. The time and work savings will be significant. The voice messages are just as secure as email. I will be reporting more as I use the system, but my preliminary reaction is COOL, SIMPLE, and ultimately useful.
