Dumb But Obvious Day - Now which side is the Gas Tank?

Link: Cars: Know the ways of the gas cap and the interstate - without looking.Gasguage I am beginning to think I should start a blog about dumb but obvious signs that many of us miss. I cannot count the times I rent a car, or drive another car (like She Who Must Be Obeyed's) and pull up to the gas pumps, stop, get out and look for the gas tank cover. Apparently, all I had to do was look at the Speedometer, where a handy little symbol points to the side the tank is on. Eureka! How not observant I am? Of course, I am willing to bet that there are a few of you out there that didn't know this one either.

Re " Dumb but Obvious".

Don't beat yourself up. After reading this post I checked both family cars. My wife's Toyota has the arrow. My Volvo does not.

You may not have noticed it in the past because it may not have been there.
