Link: Palm Centro hits the magical one million mark - Engadget. My favorite smartphone, the Centro, is a huge hit. It has sold more than a million units; part of the reason is the $99 purchase price. I predict that the Palm OS will be saved by the popularity of the Centro. Windows Mobile fans will be upgrading to the new Treos, which will likely carry the 800 designation. I really love the small Centro form factor, though, although as I grow older, it becomes more difficult to see.
