I still use Thunderbird to access my Futurelawyer email boxes, as it allows more control. However, everyone else in my family, and many people I know, use Gmail exclusively, and they swear by it. Gmail gives you a lot of power user controls that appeal to many people who don't want to maintain a POP mailbox system. I have a Gmail address, so email me there if you want to convert me also.
