Apple: Apple Removes Antivirus Support Note, Reiterates OS X's Built-In Protection. Apple has rethought the publication of several Anti-virus software applications that it linked to on its Mac OS Antivirus Utilities pages. The links have apparently been removed, and Apple has reiterated its position that Macs don't need antivirus software due to their reliance on the Unix core. While I agree that the Mac OS, Unix, and Linux, and all their variants, are inherently more secure than Windows, it is just a matter of time until someone successfully attacks Macs. Better safe than sorry. Check out the antivirus software.











well I knew this was coming sooner or later.. I guess Macs are getting more popular..
