Advanced Advocates.
Kevin Thompson has created a collaboration website for law students that leverages Web 2.0, and creates a law student community at the same time. This site is in beta; but, it looks like a well designed place for law students to share and compare briefs, connect with each other, and find support from like minded individuals.I have been playing with Martindale-Hubbell Connected; which promises connections, resource sharing, and a lot of other stuff for lawyers. Advanced Advocates is a start-up with similar aspirations for law students; if it can get some traction with enough law students, it might make some very large corporations very nervous. On the Internet, all web sites are playing on a level playing field. It is the quality of the content that will dictate survival or failure. Good luck, Kevin.

I just checked out the site for law students, what an innovative jump from when I was in law school. Too bad it is restricted to students; just opening my private practice I could use a place to belong like this.

Wow, what a neat concept! Too bad I can't get on, but I would've loved to have this in school.
