PdaNet -- USB Tether/Bluetooth DUN for Android.

You still can't tether your iPhone and your notebook computer. AT&T and Apple have refused to support it. Early next year, you will be able to tether the Droid to your Notebook; however, it will be expensive, around $30 a month. Why wait? You can buy the venerable PDANet application for $29.95, and do it now. Another thing Droid does, and iPhone doesn't. Which side of the debate are you on?

Verizon probably would not like me using tethering but lets say that I may or may not be using it to type this post out and, if I was, it would very fast, very easy to setup, and perfect for minimal usage (even using the free version) when you're out with family for the holiday...

It works great, it will be perfect for vacations at places that dont have free wifi.
