Mr. Phelps, This USB Stick Will Self-Destruct In 15 Seconds

Slashdot Hardware Story | Self-Destructing USB Stick.   I missed a very important feature of the new Victorinox secure USB stick. Apparently, if someone tries to tamper with it, it self destructs. Apparently, in hacker tests, no one was able to access the data on it; notwithstanding that there was a $149,000 bounty available to the first hacker who could do it. Sounds secure to me; but is complete security "Mission Impossible"? For my younger readers, the device in the photo is a "tape recorder", which was the USB stick of its time. I suppose secret agents nowadays would receive their instructions via BlueTooth to a tiny earset. Then, no destruction would be necessary.

I was bought one of these a few weeks ago, great little bit of geek tech but Im kind of thinking, would I want any of my data to be destroyed? Needles to say I havnt used it yet, its more of an expensive keyring right now
