Verizon begins Android 2.1 update rollout for Motorola Droid -- Engadget. I downloaded the 2.1 Droid update this morning, and it is great. Live wallpapers, pinch to zoom throughout, and, my favorite, voice to text dictation, You will have to wait for the over the air update this weekend; but, for us geeks, we can download the zipped file containing the update, and install it manually. Not for the faint of heart, or the newbie, so you will have to wait.
