LogMeIn - Remote Access and Desktop Control Software for Your Computer.   One of the benefits of cloud computing is that your server is maintained by someone else. Of course, I am assuming that your vendor is solid, and you have done your homework about security issues before signing up. However, once in the cloud, it is a seductive mistress, and addicting. One of the benefits I have found is that I very seldom need to access my Office Server while mobile anymore. In fact, it has become more of a data storage device, and I don't worry about its security too much anymore. In fact, I have terminated my monthly account with a paid remote access service, and am using a couple of free options. Logmein has a free option that allows occasional remote control of a computer, and which gives me exactly what I need to do remote updates, or file searches. There is also a free Android mobile phone option, PhoneMyPc, which works fine.
