A reader who commented on my post about using Google Scholar for basic legal research gave me the heads up about CiteStack, which is a free add-on to the Google Chrome browser. This add-on is very useful and cool. It takes any highlighted portions of cases found with Scholar, and creates pin-cited references for them automatically. It really makes an online research session handy. I still recommend Versuslaw for complete legal research; but, as a free tool, the combination of Google Scholar and CiteStack is hard to beat. N.B. After using the add-on for a little while, I realized that it is free to download, but only free for a 30 day trial period. After that, a one year license is $69. Still a bargain.
