Will Droid 2 Make Droid Obsolete? - PCWorld.   The coming Droid 2, with the same form factor as the 9 month old Droid, is sparking discussion of whether a 9 month old phone is already obsolete. If you are a hard keyboard lover, your original Droid was a little disappointing; but, a better keyboard probably isn't enough to buy the new one. However, this quick obsolescence is really aggravating to early adopters. My take on this is that original Droid users are very happy with their phones, and won't be too upset; especially, if they are hackers who enjoy rooting their phones and getting at the Linux kernel under the hood. The Droid 2 will probably be better locked down.
