Using the Internet as a Tool for Cross-Examination. Are you using the free Internet tools at your disposal in the cases you handle? In the early days of the Internet, I used to tell audiences (most of whose members had never heard of the Internet or the Web) that information is the lawyer's currency. Get it and spend it. The Internet is a limitless fountain of information, and you never know what piece of information will make or break your case. I will be presenting on Internet Search on April 1st in Ft. Lauderdale for the General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Section of the Florida Bar. I will put the outline up after the presentation. If you are in Florida around that time, don't hesitate to stop by. Remember, if you want to know what your witness, opponent, client, or juror are really like, "Google It! Facebook It!".
