My most important is the risk of using and carrying debit cards. Linked to our checking accounts, they are very convenient, and very dangerous. Make a paper copy of your debit and credit cards before you go, and scan and store the copy in  a safe place. Use credit cards for purchases, and keep a record of the purchases. Never carry a paper checkbook with you, and never carry a Social Security Card.
