Samsung unveils Galaxy Note - a new 5.3-inch, dual-core phone with a SuperAMOLED HD display | Android Central. As I wait patiently for the Droid Bionic, with its 4.5 inch screen, dual core processor, and Android OS, running in the Verizon 4G LTE wireless environment, I have seen the future, and it is by Samsung. How about a dual core processor, a Super AMOLED screen running at 1280x800, and a 5.3 inch screen? Holy moly. Of course the Galaxy Note is intended to replace both the traditional smart phone AND the current tablets. Call it the ultimate in portable computer convergence. I like the big 10 inch screen on my tablet. It is like having an electronic magazine with me that also is a computer. I also like the hand holdable Thunderbolt. Switching back and forth is not optimal; but, you can carry both with no problem. Will I replace them with the Note, when it is available? Too early to tell. But, as with all things Android; it is nice to have the choice.

Amazing device. Any word on release date and carrier?
