Samsung Galaxy Nexus 4G LTE Review %u2013 Droid Life. Since I couldn't afford the new computer I wanted, I settled for another new smartphone. I was already paying for my old Droid line anyway, and it was due for an upgrade; so, I am now testing the Galaxy Nexus alongside my trusty Droid Bionic. The Nexus is easily the most beautiful, smooth, and classy phone I have ever used. The big Super AMOLED Samsung screen is 4.6 inches of wow, and it feels slim and light in the hand. Its only negative is the camera; but, I use a Canon SLR for real photography anyway. You have to use this phone to believe it. Am I gushing? Check this complete review for a run through. I didn't think 4G LTE could get faster; but, this phone moves through tasks like lightning.

How is the call sound and quality? That is the one common criticism of this phone, and makes it a non-starter for me. Thanks for all of your efforts!

Sound quality is fine. I admit that I use a Bluetooth earset most often; but, it works great. The speaker is in the rear; but, so is the Bionic. And, the speaker is louder than the Bionic. If I am listening to music, I send it via Bluetooth to a Philips sound box. Fantastic.

It is the only phone running Ice Cream Sandwich, which is Android 4.0. It costs around $350 to $400 with a two year contract.
