Editorial: Everybody always is working on better battery life | Android Central. The battery draining 4G LTE phones, and the non-removable iPhone batteries, and the increasing desire to get a full day out of one charge of a phone battery, has, I suppose created anxiety in some. But, it isn't really necessary to get a prescription to treat this malady. First, get an Android phone. You can actually pry off the back cover and put in a replacement battery. You can get them online for between $5 and $40. They are tiny. Put one in your briefcase or pocket. I carry one everywhere. Second, keep the phone plugged in when you can. It is very easy to plug it in to a dock at home or at the office. When I am working in either location, I have a charging dock next to my monitor. I even plug it in when I am in the car. I have never had to use the replacement battery, but it is nice to know it is there. Third, stop worrying and learn to love the battery.
