Birding is a great hobby. All you have to do is get out of the car, and start walking. There are over 770 species of birds in North America, and all you have to do to find them is get some exercise, and put on your glasses. The Audubon Field Guides are an amazing repository of information; but, now, on your Android phone, or your iPhone, you can bring the photos, information, and even the calls, with you everywhere. The Android app is only $9.99, and the iPhone version is $19.99. I don't know why iPhone users have to pay more, because the app looks much better on the big screen. You can also view it on a tablet; and, since I have a tablet with a 4G Radio, I have a great big screen to view the photos on. It is much easier to carry a phone while walking, however, so I think I will use it. If you have a life list, you can now upload your finds to a website straight from the app. Happy Birding.
