The Cryoscope: A Haptic Weather Forecasting Device [Video]. Are you curious about what the weather is like outside? Are you too lazy to walk to the front door, open it, and walk outside? Then, do I have a gadget for you! The Cryoscope heats and cools itself, depending on the outside temperature, and you can touch it (they call this haptic to make it sound scientifically serious) and "feel" what the temperature is outside. I don't get a lot of exercise; but, it isn't that difficult to rise up, walk to the door, open it, and walk outside to see what the weather is like.
