Nokia offers Lumia 900 buyers $100 credit - The Inquirer. The new Lumia 900 came out on Sunday; and, it has been problematic from day one. First, Microsoft is banking on this phone to challenge iPhone and Android for smart phone buyers. Second, a new phone adoption on Easter Sunday is a bit like opening a surf shop in Iowa. Nobody there, boss. Third, the phone was buggy from the start, with all sorts of WiFi connectivity issues. The $99 phone is now being offered with a $100 credit to early adopters, effectively making it free. Of course, you still have to live with AT&T for two years. Ouch. I think I will wait until a Windows phone is offered for Verizon Wireless. Then, I may still pass.
