ASUS Padfone Could Be Delayed Due To Qualcomm S4 Shortage. I still have my Droid Bionic, which was the first dual core smart phone, and still serves as my backup phone. It runs Android Honeycomb, and works great. It also turns into a serviceable netbook, by plugging in to a keyboard screen combination dock. I don't use the combination much any more; because I carry a Samsung tablet. Now, Asus is coming out (Snapdragon processor shortage notwithstanding) with a tablet with a slot in the back for a smartphone. I am not sure I would buy one of these; but, the concept is interesting. I sort of like having my phone available for calls when I am using the tablet. It remains to be seen whether the novelty of this technology will work in the marketplace.
