Samsung Galaxy S III | AndroidTapp. The new Galaxy super phone, the S III, has been announced by Samsung in London, and it looks a lot like the Galaxy Nexus. As the newest super phone, it betters the Nexus in some areas, however. The screen is slightly larger, at 4.8 inches, instead of Nexus' 4.6. It also increases the on board storage options to 64 Gigs, as opposed to Nexus' 32 Gigs. And, in a big concession to the geeks, it has a Micro SD card slot, absent in the Nexus. There are some new software wrinkles as well; but, all in all, it feels like an incremental upgrade to Nexus,as opposed to a revolutionary change. If you don't have a Nexus yet, you might want to look at the S III when it comes to the U.S. to see which you like better. The battery is bigger, which makes the phone thicker than the Nexus; but, promises all day battery life.
