Watching The Game In Orlando

One of the things that mobile warriors complain about is missing the game at home. However, with a tablet computer and a Slingbox and an Internet connection, that doesn't have to be your future. After returning last night from a great dinner and a movie with the family, I checked in on the Rays who were playing at home. The local station was carrying the game; but, alas, I was in Orlando. But, not to worry. My mlb phone subscription told me the game was going into extra innings. Back in the room, I powered up the tablet, which has a built in 4G LTE radio, and loaded up Slingplayer Tablet. Bingo, I was watching the end of the game just like at home. I could even have watched from the in room TV by running an HDMI cable; but She Who Must Be Obeyed was having none of that.  Oh well. I guess you can't have it all. Then, ex Ray Jonny Gomes hit a homerun to beat the Rays in the 12th. Sweet revenge,  Jonny.
