WSJ: 2012 iPhone to support global 4G LTE -- Engadget.
Within a week, we will know for sure that the new iPhone (or iPhone 5 if you can count) will have a 4G radio in it, and it will likely be a world phone. It is unknown whether Samsung is serious about suing Apple immediately if the new iPhone (the iPhone, iPhone 5, or whatever) has 4G. It is clear, however, that Apple doesn't have much of a choice. Many Android phones have had 4G radios for two years, and speed DOES make a difference. So, if it does, welcome to the party, iPhoners. However, don't get too comfortable until Samsung's patents are fully litigated.
