I feel like I did when I was eight, and it was Christmas Eve, and all I wanted was a transistor radio to listen to the ball games. Just as the fun of Christmas is as much in the anticipation as in the moment of gift receipt, so also is the plight of a techie who is waiting on the latest, greatest gadget. I admit my addiction, and I am now kicking myself for pre-ordering when I could have just driven to the local Verizon store today, and bought one.
