Convertible? Connectable? All In One? You Decide

I am leaning toward an ASUS Transformer Book, which will have a Windows 8 tablet similar to the original Android based Transformer, that will connect to a keyboard with an additional battery; but, unlike the original Transformer, it will have an SSD hard drive for all your Windows legacy programs and data. If a connectible is too bulky for you, there are a bunch of convertibles coming that have screens that flip into tablet mode when you want. If these are thin and light enough to compete with the current crop of tablets that run Android and IOS, they may be where I'm headed. In any event, none of them are ready to go under the tree this year, so it will be a few months before you have to choose.
