Rage, Rage Against The Dying Of The Microsoft Machine
Hey, Microsoft - you really wanna see 'DroidRage'? | Android Central.
In choosing to market Windows Phone 8 by trashing Android, Microsoft looks like the aging dinosaur it is, with a squealing thunderous scream of rage while dying. In fact, Android malware is about as pernicious as Apple malware. Since most Android machines are sandboxed against malware, like Apple products, being at their heart, Linux machines, I would be very surprised if the #DroidRage campaign goes anywhere. However, while Microsoft has made inroads in recent years against the early problems with system security, it is still, at its heart, not as secure as Linux. I like Windows 8, and I don't have a problem with the Metro style tiled interface of Windows Phone 8; however, trying to market your product with a phony ad campaign pitting the OSes against each other is more like the sad, desperate death throes of a large animal than it is an appeal to new purchasers. I am beginning to see the signs of #WindowsPhoneRage.
