US Army Launches Recruiter App

US Army launches SGT. STAR - a virtual assistant recruiter app | Android Central. The Army didn't need to recruit me; ROTC was part of my College curriculum for two years. At that point, they had me at "The draft lottery is coming". That, and a kind Army Major who advised me that, if I went to war, I wanted to be an Officer. However, the draft is long gone, and we are an all volunteer force. Regardless of how you feel about our participation in conflicts around the globe, the Army must recruit volunteers. There are many questions that need to be answered before a young person makes that call. This little app will answer many of those questions, and I have a suspicion that many parents of prospective soldiers will want to know the answers as well. While I am thinking about it, I hope that you walk up and say thank you every time you see a young person in uniform.
