I had to smile when I read this post about the coming Ice Cream Sandwich update to the venerable HTC Thunderbolt. Two years ago, this was my daily phone, and it was one of the first dual core, 4G LTE phones I used. However, that was two or three phones ago, and, in mobile years, the Thunderbolt is 65. If HTC needs to figure out why Samsung has been cleaning its clock, it shouldn't complain about Samsung's superior marketing budget. It need look no further than its failure to update its phones' software.
