Windows 8 Computers Are Getting Eye-Tracking Hardware From Tobii | GadgeTell.
Tobii is readying a sensor bar that will connect to any Windows 8 computer, and allow the user to track Windows tiles with the eyes. If you have used the XBox 360 with a sensor bar that tracks your movements for games while you jump around the room looking foolish, you know that the technology for sensing human movement and tracking it on a screen is already here. Ultimately, we will be able to look at our computer and silently choose options for action with our eyes. For now, the tech only moves the cursor around. You still have to push the trackpad and keys with your fingers. Brave new world.
