Some time ago, I received a little USB drive for review. Little did I know that it contained a $39 software program that permitted the encryption of the entire USB stick, and that I could put all of my client documents on it, with assurance that no one could get at them. However, over a year later, and I still carry my documents on this little secure device. It also contains a browser that permits totally secure browsing. It isn't 100 percent private, and tracking sites can still identify the location of the user; but, it is about as good as you will get without government clearance. If you carry sensitive stuff on USB drives (and what lawyer doesn't), protect them with EncryptStick.
