You can now bring your cell phone into North Korea, when you come to visit. However, you can't use it to call South Korea. Or any South Koreans. Or, for that matter, any locals. But, hey, it's something, right? Apparently, Eric Schmidt's visit to North Korea has opened the doors to a modern detente. Maybe, next, North Korea will allow Internet access to its citizens. Hey, I know, Mr. Schmidt, maybe you ought to visit more dictatorships. I know that your influence will bring about a new era in openness and cooperation from the North Korean government. Maybe the North Koreans will let us bring in a Windows computer, running Windows XP, and allow access to the Internet over a dial up modem.
