Google will soon allow Chrome passwords to be synced to Android devices - The Next Web.
One of the best things about Google is that it syncs data across multiple devices. And, Google Chrome syncs bookmarks, and settings. So, when I move from the notebook to a tablet or a smartphone, once I sign in to Google, everything syncs and is as I left it. Now, Chrome will be updated to sync passwords as well. One of the pains of using Chrome on a phone or tablet is entering passwords for all the apps that need them. Now, they will be synced across devices just like bookmarks. This isn't as dangerous as it sounds, as long as you have two step security set up. Never access Google with just a user name and password. It is too easy to hijack your devices. With two step security, once the password and user name are entered, Google will send a secret code to your designated mobile device, ie. phone, via text message and you must have possession of the phone to gain access. Since my phone is super glued to my hip, you will have to kidnap me to get it. And, I have extra security layers on the phone. Digital life is complicated. Lock it up.
