However, a comparison of BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone 8 looks like a battle between also rans. Is the iOS and Android lead so big that Microsoft and BlackBerry will always be fighting for third place? I suspect that BlackBerry may be a superior device to Windows Phone 8 devices; but, Windows has a huge advantage in the compatibility between most people's desktop and notebook systems. On the other hand, those enterprises that still believe in the one source mobile solution of BlackBerry, for security reasons, might just jump on the 10. And, Canadians really need their own home grown computer company to rally around. At the least, there are now more choices for the consumer.
