Apple Loses Bid to Ban Samsung Galaxy Nexus - John Paczkowski - Mobile - AllThingsD. Apple is on a losing streak lately, and that is good for consumers. In a final decision ahead of the mother of all patent trials (at least for this year) the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in D.C. has rejected Apple's demand for a ban of the Nexus prior to trial. Although my Nexus is now my backup phone to my Note 2, it is nice to know I won't be getting a visit from the Apple police. Is there no one at Apple who understands the hit the brand is taking from all this litigation? Apple continues to recycle the same old phone, and has the gall to call itself innovative. It is sad that the true innovators are outside the United States. It is sad that Apple feels the need to continue its abuse of the patent system. I would now appreciate it if all you Apple fanboys and fangirls would send me comments. I need to get my numbers up.
