Jawbone Up - If You Buy And Use One Of These, You Are Dead To Me

Jawbone Up extends social feed with Facebook Open Graph integration for iOS. Don't get me wrong. I love Jawbone products. I love the Earsets, and the Bluetooth speakers. However, I hated the UP band the first time I saw it. Wearing something on my wrist that talked to my computer about my dietary, sleep and exercise habits? Please. I know it is the ME generation; but, I really don't want to be reminded that I get too little sleep, too little exercise, and don't eat "healthy" foods. Next, the UP band will beep me if I buy a 32 ounce soda in New York City, or will deliver an electric shock if I sit down at a McDonald's restaurant in San Francisco that serves Big Macs. OMG. But, in the ultimate display of arrogance, and hubris, the UP band software has been "upgraded" to send all of this data to your Facebook Timeline. What? Hey, I am all for losing weight, and, to the limits of my ability, to exercise. But, if you think, for a nanosecond, that your exercise habits and your eating habits are at all interesting to me, you are smoking something that is not very healthy. OMG.
