Wells Fargo Mobile Banking Apps %u2013 Mobile Deposit. I have a love hate relationship with Wells Fargo Bank. On the one hand, it is a slow moving, non customer centric, behemoth, whose rigid rules may work in the world of large corporations and heavy handed Government regulation; but, which can be a huge annoyance for small businesses. However, being large means being more innovative in some areas, and I really love being able to make the law firm deposits at an ATM machine. Just plug in your card, enter your pin, and stick the checks in the scanning slot. You get a receipt with a copy of the scanned check, and no tellers in sight. However, when I loaded up the newest version of the Android app the other day, I was surprised to find a new button. You can now deposit your checks by taking a picture of them with your phone. You still need to put the deposit stamp on the back, and take a picture of both sides of the check; but, now I don't even have to drive to the bank. Very cool. Very modern. I can put up with some big bank annoyances for this convenience.
