Sony SmartWatch now open for tweaking | Smartphones - CNET Reviews.
I wear a Sony SmartWatch, and love it. My wrist vibrates when I have incoming email, or phone calls, and I can glance at my wrist to decide if I want to answer. No hands. Text messages appear on the small screen; although, I have to pull out the phone to read emails. The screen is tiny; but, it makes the SmartWatch not look like geek city. Now, Sony has opened the watch up to third party developers, and I can only imagine the apps they will come up with. My first request is an app that will scroll the content of emails on the watch. The recent software updates have made the watch much more dependable, and it stays connected all day. It needs to be on a charger every night; but, it seems rock solid now. So, third party developers, let's see some hacker innovation.
