Sony teases new smartwatch announcement for next week.
The Sony SmartWatch is the only usable version of its kind that I can wear every day. It is truly useful, especially since recent firmware upgrades that make the Bluetooth connection to my phones easier and more reliable. It still doesn't have all day battery life, which can be a pain in the late afternoon. However, it works, and it is really handy to have it vibrate when emails or texts or other notifications come in. I can actually read the texts on the watch, without removing the phone from its cradle or my pocket. Now, Sony is going to be increasing screen size, adding an NFC chip for quick connections, and other enhancements in a new version. Since you can get one now for under $100, this is a truly useful device.
