All those bits of data can be stolen and used to harm you and your contacts. Identity theft depends upon the theft of identity information that is typically stored in computer files. Once stolen, the information can be used in many ways to take money or other information. LastPass is a software plugin that stores the many passwords we use for access to our sites and programs in an encrypted vault that cannot be broken by pretty much anyone. There are other similar plugins; but, LastPass is considered one of the top five. It is free to download and use, and will give you an additional layer of protection by making your passwords difficult, if not impossible, to steal.
