I love my LiveScribe Echo Pen. I can take notes with it all day long, and my scribbling is preserved for posterity as soon as I hook up with my computer via the USB port. I can even convert my scribbles to typewritten text. But, the pen has some real annoyances. The ball point pen cap is tiny, and there is no way to store it after it is removed for writing. And, there is no pocket clip to attach it to your pocket when you are moving around. Some people have take to gluing a clip to the pen or the cap end; but, that is really tacky. I was trying to figure out a solution when my eyes fell on an old fat Sharpie I had laying around. It was dry and the plastic cap looked big enough to slide over the pen end of the Echo. Presto. Changeo. I now have an easy to store cap that doubles as a pocket clip for the Echo pen. Serendipity.
