This just may be the WiFi Killer app. Now that the Treo 700w comes EV-DO capable, users of Windows Mobile 5.0 on the Treo have broadband wireless access anywhere. I still use, and swear by, my PCCard solution with my Dell ultralight. I don't go anywhere without it, and I can do real law work anywhere. Yesterday, for example, I was grabbing a late lunch at my local favorite restaurant, and I got a cell call from the office. A change needed to be made in a closing statement for a real estate transaction immediately. In the old days, I would have left my lunch un-eaten, and raced back to the office to solve the problem. With EV-DO, however, I was able to load my real estate prep software, make the necessary changes, and Efax the updated HUD1 to the parties for review. And, I finished my lunch.
