Link: Genuine Windows Validation. Never mind. Ignore this morning's post about the Microsoft Beta for IE 7. I have been trying to install it today, and it refuses. First, Microsoft puts you through the Validation process, and then the installation keeps crashing at the Registry update, even though I have turned off antivirus, spyware, and other software. In addition to providing competent browser features a couple of years after the competition has them, such as tabbed browsing, Microsoft provides a buggy install version that conflicts with its own operating system. Is anybody awake out there in Redmond? Argghhhhhh... From Frustration Junction, this is your intrepid reporter, FutureLawyer, going off to take a stress nap.
Just get Opera, it's free, small and incredibly fast and there are new updates introducing new functionalities and fixing bugs every months or so.
