The first thing I did when I got my new Dell laptop was look at the battery. Made in Korea. Great. Sony's China made batteries are being recalled every day, and Sony is taking a big hit in the pocketbook. Bragging about a "Made in Korea" label. Who knew? The only thing for certain is that none of these batteries have a "Made in America" label. Have you checked the country of origin for your laptop battery yet?
