Can't believe you actually received another silverplate platter that will never get used? Well, there is hope. This site specializes in advice about how to give those unwanted or unneeded gifts away, without looking tacky. Of course, it isn't a good idea to give the tie back to the person who gave it to you. That would be a tad beyond tacky.
