Link: New spam trick: Mimic legit newsletters - Yahoo! News.
Phishing scammers are finding new ways to trick you into giving up personal information. Now, it is being reported that the newsletters you get regularly may be being spoofed by scammers who steal the code from the newsletter, and create a real looking version, which they send to you. As I have said in the past, before clicking on anything in an email, even it you are expecting the newsletter or communication, roll your mouse over the link, and look at the bottom line of your browser to see where it is really taking you. If you aren't sure about the address, don't go there. Download the NetCraft toolbar for a quick look at the site safety rating. Be alert.
