Link: LexBlog Blog : Law firm says 'No Go' on starting virtual office in Second Life.
This post from Kevin O'Keefe outlines the reasons a U.K. law firm has declined to open an office in Second Life. While the FutureLawyer toyed with the idea also, and even installed the Second Life software, I found it difficult to get around, and after several hours of trying, haven't even found a plot of land to buy. The developers really need to make navigation, land purchase, and building, easier to navigate before this Internet virtual world will get broad traction. I will continue to play with it, and will let you all know when you can come visit the FutureLawyer office in Second Life. However, first I need to figure out how to buy some land.
