This comes via Robert Ambrogi at LawSites . Bob and Roger Parloff highlight this true to life email exchange as a cautionary tale for those who inaccurately type email addresses. However, the most important part of the exchange for me was the advice to avoid Yahoo, Gmail, AOL, and other common domains. It would be impossible to mis-type the Futurelawyer's email address, because, since it is my own domain, any email addressed to it comes to me or a member of my immediate family. I hear you Griffiths, "[email protected]" WILL get to me. So, if you aren't in control of your own domain, get one. They are cheap, and much more secure.
